- How Does PartyJobs Work for Vendors?
- Planners post event jobs. You tell us which services you offer and where you work, and matching jobs show up in your feed. You can see the details of each one before deciding whether to spend a credit on it.
- Does It Cost Anything to Create a Profile?
- No. Creating a vendor profile is free, and so is browsing jobs. You only spend credits when you choose to unlock one.
- How Do Credits Work?
- Credits are what you spend to unlock a job and respond to the planner. Jobs cost different amounts depending on the size of the event, and the cost is shown on the job before you spend anything.
- Can I See a Job Before Spending Credits?
- Yes — that is the point. Event type, date, area, guest count, budget and the service-specific answers are all visible first. The planner's contact details are what unlocking reveals.
- What Happens if a Planner Doesn't Respond?
- If a planner does not open your quote, read your message, reply to you, or shortlist or decline it within 7 days, your credits are returned automatically and you do not need to file anything. If returns on an account run unusually high we check those by hand first, which takes a little longer. Credit Protection is measured on PartyJobs.ca: if you call, text or email a planner directly, we cannot see whether they replied — so contact outside the platform does not count either way. It will not cost you your refund, and it cannot be used to claim one.
- Do I Have to Pay a Monthly Subscription?
- No. There is no membership fee and no contract. You buy credits when you want them, and they don't expire.
- How Will I Know When New Jobs Are Available?
- You choose the services and areas you work in, and matching jobs are picked out for you in your feed, with the new ones marked. You can change those or switch them off at any time.
- Can I Choose Which Jobs I Respond To?
- Always. Nothing is assigned to you and nothing is automatic — every job you pursue is one you picked.
- How Many Vendors Can Respond to the Same Job?
- Only a limited number, and the limit is set by the size of the job — bigger jobs allow a few more vendors, never many. Once the spots are taken the job stops accepting responses, so the planner is not buried and your response is not lost in a pile. Every job shows how many spots are left before you spend a credit.
